Kristina Hamachi LaCommare is a Program Manager in the End-Use Forecasting Group. She works with a number of groups in the Environmental Energy Technologies Division to help manage group finances and budgets. On the research side, she also works with the the latest version of the Energy Information Administration's National Energy Modeling System (NEMS) in assessing various forecast scenarios for proposed energy efficiency standards. She has also used NEMS to model green market scenarios and assess how distributed energy resource (DER) technologies are represented in NEMS. She received her M.S. in Atmospheric Science at the University of California, Davis and has been with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory since 1999.
